Pierre

Today is the first day of February which Joe insists upon calling "Funruary," though it is much more fun for him than for me because he watches "Lost" which I understand is starting up again this month, and he finally gets to see this play he's obsessed with even though it's like 7 hours long and really boring. Needless to say, those nights I will be watching re-runs of "The Bachelor" on Hulu and probably eating pints (plural) of goat's milk ice cream which is my new favorite food group.

There are a couple fun things about February, I will admit:

a) Valentine's Day: Even in past years when I was single and heartbroken and watching every TV show or movie Milo Ventimiglia has ever been in, I have always loved Valentine's Day. I think it's a sweet splash of charm in the middle of a bleak season, and there is half-price candy at CVS the next day. Plus, this year, the movie "Valentine's Day" is coming out which has Julia Roberts AND Taylor Swift in it and to tell you the truth I've been excited about it since October.

b) Lent: Just kidding. Lent is not fun.

c) We are going to a lot of museums this month which means I am going to be really cultured by March. Just you wait, I am going to start having to wear berets and smoke pipes just to keep up with the blase attitude and sophisticated demeanor I shall develop from so much museum-going.

Which brings me to my next point, Pierre. He is a world traveler who is fond of the scent of pipes and fancies a Parisian lady named Clothilde. I drew some pictures of him today.
